c7483a with EOT message

Il system tenta di effettuare un backup ma il log presenta un EOT appena si tenta di scrivere sul nastro.

Il tape è un C7483A
il nastro è C8010A
il totale di GB da trascrivere è 32GB.


Qualcuno ha riscontrato un messaggio del genere?

your request appear a bit incongruent,

the drive is a DLT1e and the tape is a DDS5 cartridge

anyway, the EOT is end of tape, that mean that or the tape is full, or the tape is damaged.
Do you have the same problem with all tapes?
You can use LTT to diagnose the drive
