cleaning tape

Hi, I have one msl6030 ultrium2.
And one cleaning tape ultrium 1 (new).

The cleaning tape is compatible with the library? or there is cleaning tape for ultrium II specifically

Cleaning tape must be compatible with the Tape drive and according to me ultrium 2 and ultrium 1 should have diffrent cleaning cartridges. Well but confirm it in the manuals of Tape drive.
What Cleaning cartridge does is cleans the Head inside so hardware wise if they have same head architecture then it should support. Better to confirm one.

Hi,
You should use Ultrium2 Cleaning cartridges only or the other option is Using a
Universal Cleaning Cartridge.
The Product Number is C7978A
This will work with all Ultrium Drives.

I think you should use Ultrim II cleaning cartridge only
