command view tl v.2.6.01

I am trying to generate a support ticket. It looks like it is doing well but at the end it fails with the following message:

com.hp.commandview.tape.common.util.exceptions.TLRemoteException: [5046] User does not have permissions to perform the operation

I have uninstalled all java on server and let command view (on reopening) instll the correct version but error still occurs.

Anyone have this before?

Hi S. Martin,

Power cycle the devices (library and server both) if possible and re-establish all the interface again..

The lab has reproduced this. If you pulled support tickets as sercurity login with older firmware then it would lock out admin and cliadmin from being able to pull support ticket.
Open the following directory
C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\Command View TL\supportticket
delete the v2 directory listed under this path.
