dds3 tape device definitions - what do they mean?

What do the 3 different tape definitions mean? I can't find them. I think one is compressed mode etc....Thanks for your help.

You can find good infos reading "man 7 mt".
There is a naming conventions section that explains all special files names.

For example final "n" means no rewind on close, "b" means Berkeley-style tape behavior and so on...
