dpx-sse error 1040 with 1x8 g2 autoloader

dpx-sse error 1040 with 1x8 g2 autoloader

i have proliant dl380 g6 with (p410i,p212i sas controllers and fc hba)
ibm storage conneted to the fc
i have 1x8 g2 tape autoloader(sas drive)
i tested the autoloader is working fine with ntbackup
but after installation of dpx-sse with perminant license it is giving error 1040 No devices specified or all devices are now offline and error 38
a confusion error

any help plz
