e1200 firmware download problem

I'm using L&TT 3.5 trying to update my e1200s from 530b to 5425. When I do the firmware update it starts the download and at image '1' it comes back and says 'firmware update FAILED!'.

I've used L&TT before and firmware updates have always worked. The OS is WS2003E.

Any ideas? I have not tried the XMODEM method.

I had the same thing happen to me today.

Never tried the upgrade via LTT.
I did several upgrades via serial cable and I never saw any problem. Easy and quick procedure.

The configuration you described should work. Please send the event log (EventLog.ltt) in the logs folder of LTT to ltt_team@hp.com. That will allow us to analyze this failure further.
