experiencing very slow performance on DAT40X6
Hi,
my backup with an dat40x6 within a new hp proliant ml530g3 only gives me a performance of about 9MB/minute with Veritas BackupExec 9.1. Can anyone give me a hint how to receive a normal performance? Anything to do with the block- and buffersize in Veritas? What are the optimal settings for this tape?
Thanks, Thomas.

Re: experiencing very slow performance on DAT40X6
Hi Thomas,
We have provided a couple of good performance trouble shooting guides that should help you, links below, this makes use of the performance tools in LTT to help identify the performance bottleneck.
