What is the FACTORY PASSWORD for viewing the logfiles?
using HP_L&TT version 3.5 for windows

it is there you need to contact you local HP support team. They will provide you termory password that will expire after 1-2 week.

Hi,

As the previous poster mentioned, contact hp support for a temporary password.

One thing to bear in mind is that the majority of customer understandable information is available in the support ticket and test results window without using the factory password override. Just use the "everything" view.

Most of the additional info that is available under factory password option will not necessarily be useful to customers since the the background knowledge needed to correctly intrepret this knowledge is not there, hence the term "factory".

Facorty password may be required in case like we want to degrade the firmware for a DAT drive.

Yes, a factory password is required to downgrade firmware in some cases.
However, the poster asked for it to view logfiles and does not mention firwmare at all. I wanted to stress that there is alot of info available without needing a factory password.
