library msl8096 and hpux dont look the driver
We have a msl8096 conections with fiber. Our server is HP9000 with hpux 11.11. The fiber channel card is TACHYON. We run # fcmsutil td0 and we look the WWN for the msl8096´s driver.
Our problem is that we dont look the driver (m, 1m, 2m etc)
Actualy we look 0m for the internal driver.
We executed insf and it dont create the drivers.
ANY IDEA?
TANKS a LOT

sam -> kernel configuraion -> modules

Re: library msl8096 and hpux dont look the driver
Previous advice is good. Another option if you can't rebuild the kernel and reboot would be to manually create a device file for the MSL8096 using the spt driver which works with almost every backup app.
