lssg
I just moved a a fibre attached MSL6000 to a new location and I was verifying the installation, connections and maps (on the E1200-160 nsr). The environment has two rhel4 hosts (rac1 and 2) and the msl600 attached to MSA1000/SAN. When I issue ./lssg on rac1 it displays the proper devices/luns including the changer and tape drives at the msl6000. When I issue an ./lssg on rac2 it shows just the devices/luns for the MSA1000 but hangs and I need to ctrl-c it. However, I see the proper devices after I issue during an ./hp_rescan or cat /proc/scsi/scsi. I am reluctant to procede with the install until I understand what's happening with ./lssg. I moved the MSL6000 from an identical environment that worked well. I am pretty confident that I haven't missed any steps at the switches or nsr. Any suggestions on where to look next?
