media changer device file

I've connected a DLT7000 (2/15) to a system and made the device files for it (ioscan & insf -e).

I can write and read tar to the device just fine. But I am also trying to find a way to change tapes using the mc command.

The issue seems to me the device specified using the -p option. It doesn't like the device that I would use for tar, ie; /dev/rmt/1m .

I've also tried setting the LIBRARY environment variable, but it's not haappy using that device file.

What is the device that it is expecting when using a -p?????

Hello,

you need to install the correct driver for the picker.

Follow the instructions on the attached document for more information.
