msl 6000 problem
we have an msl 6000 series tape library when ever we connect the tape library to our 64-Bit/66-Mhz Dual Channel Wide Ultra3 SCSI Controller Driver in our ml530 server the server crashs and if you connect before booting the server doesn't boot, unless you remove it

Re: msl 6000 problem
check all connectors for bent/broken pins, this is a tipical situation where some pins of the connectors are touching some grounding

Re: msl 6000 problem
If I remember right tape devices are not supported on the internal SCSI Controller, only stand alone drives are allowed. You need an additional SCSI controller.
