multiple servers

Hi,

Can I connect a T891DLX to 2 servers ie that each server is connected to one DLT in the T891DLX? Can I still use the robo arm and barcode reader?
Are there any other things I nee dto consider?

I don't think you'd get this setup approved as a supported configuration. In theory, you're building a Storage Area Network, but not using Fibre Channel. However, just as in Fibre Channel SAN, there is no native locking mechanism. This means you have to provide such a mechanism yourself, or else there will be problems when two servers try to use the robot the same time.
By using a backup software solution that has this type of mechanism you might get it to work. All well-known backup vendors have this in their offerings, but they are aimed at Fibre Channel SANs, and I doubt you'll find documents to support your configuraiton.
Look for Backup Exec Shared Storage Option, Legato Networker SAN Storage Node.
