netbackup stopped its backuping mission when the being backuped file is over 4GB

tape library:mls5052sl
drives(4 members):Sdlt 110/220GB(the same
firmware,lvd)

backup server:compaq proliant dl580
os:windows 2000(English version. SP2)

backup software:veritas netbackup datacenter4.5

scsi card(two members.installed in backup server):64bit/66mhz(dual channel wu3 lvd).

I do the test as following steps
1.when I link these four drives into one circle and link it to one of the scsi card in backup server, netbackup works perfectly!
2.when I link these four dirves into two circles and link its to two scsi cards in the backup server, netbackup ends its backup job after it write 4gb data to the drive.

I want to know why!!!

I want to point out that the target file is located on a unix server (30GB)
