new MSL 2024 backup very slow

Hi Everyone,

We are configured new MSL 2024 Tape Library+Data Protector. It works over FC SAN switch. When it starts to backup blinking only ethernet card not FC HBA. But on restore time vice versa.  Disk agent and media agent already installed to the clients.  First backup 35 GB Data for 75 min. Restore for 35 min. What is the problem ? Which connection should be prefer: Ehternet or FC ?

The ethernet port at the library is for management only (no data traffic), the ethernet at the drive is not used - the data goes over fc only.

Consider to do a data transfer from LTT ...

I meen ethernet interface of Data Protector Server. How data flow is going? Backup data --> Data protector server ---> MSL 2024 Tape ? Backup data > directly Tape ?
