no tapes detected in library
Hi,
i have this strange problem. I have a MSL6060 full of tapes that show in the web console where I can move them arround but don't show in LTT or NTBackup. LTT says all the slots are empty...
Did anybody see this problem before ?

Re: no tapes detected in library
I'm wondering if you are getting affected by Removable Storage Manager, is this service start/stop/disabled before running L&TT?

Re: no tapes detected in library
Hi Gustavo,
thanks for the reply. The Removable Storage service is disabled. There are no errors when LTT is detecting the devices :(

Re: no tapes detected in library
Is the tape library detecting all media from the OCP? (You can do a Library Map)
Have you tried running a Library Read/Write Test? Simply select the library (make sure the tape drive is not selected) and click on test, then choose the library read/write test.
