Re: pin configuration power supply older tz87
It's a standard PC power supply connector, but I can look up the pin-out if you want to be sure.

thanks for the answer, but I beg to differ.
It is not a standard pc power cord.

Re: pin configuration power supply older tz87
I can't find any documents from the Compaq library on the connector. The drive is a DLT2000 from Quantum, but it may have a special power connector (go figure).
Here's the quantum manual:
http://www.quantum.com/NR/rdonlyres/68515015-3A10-4624-B948-A688179C0B85/0/DLT2000ProductManual.pdf
On page 3-6 it mentions the "Storage Works Option", and shows a connector with more pins (I'm guessing 10 instead of 4). Unfortunately it doesn't list the pin-out.
Do have the drive with the Storage Works Option pinout (please say no :-)?

Re: pin configuration power supply older tz87
I couldn't find the tape, but the connector didn't look familiar to me, so I assume it was the ten pin connector. I think, it was a shelf tape, which we took apart or so.
thanks for trying,
Michael
