problem running library and tape tools
Hi,
I'm having a problem with the above when trying to run a read/write test. I've used the console to load a tape from slot1 into drive DLT0, however I keep getting the following dialog box pop up:
Please insert the test cartridge into drive#1
Continue with test?
Yes/No
I click yes, but it just comes back again. Any ideas on this? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Re: problem running library and tape tools
Hello Lon,
It could be that drive 1 and 2 are mixed up in LTT, when you select the drive does it indicate that media is present?, try the other drive.

Re: problem running library and tape tools
Is the tape write protected?
Can you go to the identify tool and click refresh after you have loaded the tape. Does it should you status for the current cartridge?

The journey IS the reward.

Re: problem running library and tape tools
Thanks Jan and David for the responses. I found out after several attempts yesterday, that it was indeed as Jan suggested.
