stuck tape/unresponsive device
I've got a compaq 20/40 DAT single internal drive on a prosignia 1600, tape is stuck, caution light and tape light flash at the same time every 5 seconds or so, most current drivers are installed (scsi and tape) - also TMSC crashes (poor dr.watson) and is unresponsive in any such tests or diag. NT backup says driver/tape is found and loaded but device is unresponsive (Vertias says the same)
Event viewer : "The Device, \Device\ScsiPort2, is not ready for access yet"
I gotta get this tape outta this drive.. (at least, hopefully I can fix it as well) help!
