ultrium 960 drive transfer rate is 20MB/s

Greetings. After running hp_ltt to see why ultrium 960 is performing SLOW, the support info shows the current SCSI transfer rate is only 20MB/sec, and config is narrow not wide. How do I change this configuration? Thanks

Narrow mean you are working with a 8 bit scsi bus instead of standard 16. The scsi bus automatically revert to the available configuration (speed, lvd, se, wide or narrow) based on the scsi bus.
so probably if the HBA support a wide transfert, you have an issue with a cable or a terminator
