Re: ultrium 960 end-of-tape msg
It is always advisable to install the latest HWEnablement patch bundle in case of this type of problems.

Re: ultrium 960 end-of-tape msg
2. vxdump -0Buf 800g /dev/rmt/1mn /tmp
but doesn't matter, the raw
# cat /tmp/print_manifest.out > /dev/rmt/1mn
used to work perfectly :-(

Re: ultrium 960 end-of-tape msg
# dd if=/tmp/print_manifest.out of=/dev/rmt/1m bs=64k
I/O error
0+1 records in
0+1 records out
but seems tha can write correctly only the first buffer...
What params I have to use? For Ultrium 230 I used to vxdump with:
$ vxdump 0bdsuf 64 81633 220000 $TAPE $fs
HELP!!!

Re: ultrium 960 end-of-tape msg
:-( Seems like this is the buffer size (?) problem but a 1024k is a max???

Re: ultrium 960 end-of-tape msg
Yours silence pushes me to think that I leaved something important :-) !
Tomorrow morning I'll install a PHCO_33201 patch that seems will resolve my problem.
