what applications support HP Ultrium 960 WORM drive?

Hi..

I was wondering if anyone knows which backup applications support Ultrium 960 WORM capable drive? The Ultrium 960 website lists many backup applications but I tried most of them and they dont seem to fully support this drive. For one they dont seem to recognize it is a WORM drive.

Any ideas? I think I am using the latest drivers and running the correct OS too.

Hi,

Even without this kind of technology, you can still utilize the concept of this feature by simply choosing the write backup software for you.

Look for a backup software that can manage medias for "overwritable protection" then you can still have process that allows your data to be written to a tape box a single time with securtity level from erasing the data.
