Get Insights into State-of-the-Art IoT: Follow Us for HPE IoT Tech Days

IoT_Tech_days.PNGThese are exciting times in IoT, as more and more businesses move beyond the POVs, POCs and pilots and into full-blown implementations. Companies are seeing real outcomes from their IoT digital transformations, ranging from faster, safer industrial processes to accelerated recovery from natural disasters.

Many of the movers and shakers of the IoT world will be coming together for HPE IoT Tech Days in Houston, October 1โ€“2, to learn about the latest advances and share their ideas and experiences. We invite you to join the conversation (#IoTTechDays) and follow along with industry influencers and HPE experts, partners, and customers as they share the event experience through social media (info below).

Weโ€™ll be touring three state-of-the-art facilities that demonstrate IoT in action โ€” and which you can visit too!

  1. HPE IoT Innovation Lab. This Houston facility is one of four HPE IoT Innovation Labs (the others are in Grenoble, France; Bangalore, India; and Singapore) where visitors can explore the business value of HPEโ€™s extensive portfolio of IoT technologies. Our event attendees will learn how our solutions are translatable across a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, oil and gas, engineering, healthcare, and retail. The Lab features complete Edge-to-Cloud technologies to help HPE customers incubate and develop solutions in a wide variety of sectors; you can request a visit to the HPE IoT Innovation Labs here.
  2. Refinery of the Future. Texmark Chemicals is a leading chemical processing and manufacturing company. The companyโ€™s plant in Galena Park, Texas, leverages HPE EdgeLine IoT Systems as well as Industrial IoT technologies from HPE technology partners and Aruba, an HPE company, to deliver exceptional worker safety and production efficiency. Weโ€™ll showcase the Intelligent Edge in action for our event attendees on what we call a tour through the Refinery of the Future, and guess what? This is also a place you and your IT and OT teams can visit and explore in person โ€“ you can register here.
  3. CenterPoint Energy Innovation Center. Houston-based energy delivery leader CenterPoint Energy leverages Edge-to-Core-to-Cloud technology from HPE and partners to automate power distribution and drive service efficiency. CenterPoint CTO Dr. Steven Pratt will join HPEโ€™s Dr. Tom Bradicich (@TomBradicichPhD), VP and GM for IoT and Converged Edge Systems, to talk about the companiesโ€™ relationship and how HPE technologies helped CenterPoint accelerate recovery from hurricane Harvey.

Dr. Tom will be the host for HPE IoT Tech Days. Industry influencers who are planning to attend include:

  • Gary Mintchell (@GaryMintchell). An operations technology expert, Gary focuses on manufacturing and automation.
  • Lucian Fogoros (@fogoros). Lucian is co-founder of IIoT World, a community of executives, advocates and technology leaders that fosters awareness of digital transformation and IIoT.
