HP Proactive Care and SAP HANA—a match made in heaven

You have probably already heard about HP ConvergedSystem 900 for SAP HANA. If not, here’s the story in a nutshell: built on the Dragon Hawk platform, which makes HP’s proven mission-critical features available in an x86 system, the CS 900 for SAP HANA adds to the already robust HP SAP HANA portfolio with support for up to 2TB per node, extreme scale, high availability, and enterprise data protection. You’ve probably also heard about HP Proactive Care. If not, here’s the story on that: a new support experience designed to prevent downtime rather than just fix it, with one number to call for system-wide problems and direct access to focused experts in HP’s Center of Expertise.

As SAP users broaden their use of SAP HANA in-memory database to include both Big Data analytics and ERP online transaction processing, they are beginning to achieve the “real-time business platform” SAP intends HANA to be.
