Communications Service Providers (CSPs) - forced by the explosion of video consumption - have made substantial investments in video distribution networks. CSPs must evolve their strategy to keep pace with new challenges and sustain business imperatives to emerge in a leadership position in the market.

The user experience is becoming increasingly immersive: customer knowledge based on localization, habits and events requires analytics for catalog recommendations and video advertising.

Business imperatives make it essential for CSPs to have streamline operations to manage multiple video formats. In addition, the rise of UHD 4K technology requires future proof and scalable network infrastructure investments to allow a seamless experience across all screens and devices.

A virtual infrastructure can be easily scaled across multiple servers in a cluster that shares virtual resources on all physical nodes, without requiring additional management software. This architecture can support the deployment of event-based digital services with the capacity to build a channel in one day.

Devices are evolving along with the content. Connected devices that enable customers to watch TV anywhere, anytime are evolving into multiscreen distribution (OTT) and on-demand services, creating new digital revenue streams with advanced advertisement solutions.

IT industry Media Cloud expert, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), in partnership with Media and Entertainment industry leader, Imagine Communications, invite you to a Light Reading-hosted webinar where they will define how Media Cloud strategy can meet CSPs’ business objectives. They will discuss how to select the right media services to fit your virtualization strategy, and define an open virtualized architecture embracing the MANO layer managing hybrid environments.
