HPE unveils its Partner Solution Showcase at Mobile World Congress 2018
At Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona, HPE will host a dedicated Partner Showcase in which ten companies will highlight how their offerings, combined with HPE technologies, bring unique value to the Telecommunication and Media Industry.
We can visualize these partners as structured in three different layers.
On a first ‘Platform’ layer, HPE will welcome Red Hat, which is HPE’s preferred partner for OpenStack deployments, as well as Hortonworks, to address challenges in Telecom data growth, for both structured and unstructured data. Use cases presented will range from a ‘cloud-ready’ video encoding platform, to establishing a foundation for targeted advertising for travelling subscribers.
On a second ‘Enabling Technologies’ layer, we have five HPE partners showing a great variety of solutions: Strong Authentication for mobile users (Inside Secure), vEPC implementation (Affirmed Networks), VoLTE deployment (Metaswitch), Edge computing (Smartedge) and virtual video processing (Broadpeak). These technologies complement and extend the HPE portfolio, and will showcase integration with HPE Telco ‘core’ components (such as HSS or VAS) as well as HPE OSS platforms.
Finally, the third or ‘upper’ layer will be devoted to two leading system integration companies, Tech Mahindra (primarily focusing on HPE Universal IoT Platform) and Deloitte Consulting (focusing on NFV/SDN transformation). HPE will also host our customer KDDI from Japan, who, as part of an ETSI PoC, is developing, with HPE, Intel and Saguna Networks, a special solution to allow emergency V2X traffic to flow, even in case of network congestions.
