In all industries, the workplace is changing at a breathtaking pace, whether itโ€™s manufacturing floors or traditional office spaces. The ways employees interact and complete their tasks are evolving at speed. Technology continues to play a critical role in providing the right services to your employees, whether thatโ€™s messaging, collaboration or unified communications.

Through 2021, the hope is to return to normality in terms of a working environment. But the reality is, it will be a very different hybrid digital workplace environment that most organizations return to. It is clear there will be less business travel. People will continue to work from home, but at the same time, theyโ€™ll want the flexibility to return to the office for some days during the week.

How can businesses support this new work dynamic? How can they work smarter to build the modern hybrid workplace? And what tools and technologies are required to support employees in todayโ€™s environments? Those are some of the questions that weโ€™ll be tackling in a new series of webinars called The Future of Digital Work โ€“ Expert Series.

Our approach is to break the journey to the hybrid workplace into eight stages. We start with redefining experiences, with the focus on ensuring productivity regardless of location โ€“ making work independent of place. In our first expert series session we will cover this in detail, including the key points to consider and how to ensure that this is a strategic project across the whole organization. Alongside my colleague Thomas Strasser, Iโ€™ll be presenting this first episode, Powering Innovation through Collaboration in a Digital Workplace, on Thursday March 25 at 9:00 PDT.

Throughout the next few months you will see us move forward on the journey as we talk about how to gain insight and control; accelerate development; and modernize and move to the cloud. These areas span topics from adopting cloud platforms, such as Microsoft 365, through to automating processes and empowering individuals with data to make informed decisions.

In addition, weโ€™ll cover three supporting factors to consider from a data perspective. Firstly, how do you drive intelligence and utilize AI to improve safety or optimize productivity? Secondly, how does the operating model need to evolve as you move into the hybrid world? Lastly, how do you build trust from a cyber security perspective? Weโ€™ll focus on topics such as identity and access management as well as business continuity.

The good news is that there's plenty of technology out there to support this journey. The key is choosing the right offering and, critically, making sure your wider organization and employees are supported throughout the change. No one really uses software that just appears on their laptop; there has to be an enablement program and a cultural change to take advantage of it.

At HPE, we can help customers in a number of ways. It often starts with supporting clients in an advisory or strategic way, ensuring that key stakeholders are part of the transformation. The progression is then typically into a defined professional services engagement, deploying the new technology and ensuring that users are trained. To help in running the future operating model, we also offer operational services to provide ongoing support to manage and maintain systems across hybrid cloud offerings.

We hope you can join us for the Future of Digital Work, Expert Series. You can register today โ€“ hereโ€™s the link for the first session again: Powering Innovation through Collaboration in a Digital Workplace.
