How to set a TippingPoint filter to "shun" an intruder for a short while?

Looking at our Top 10 attacks, I want to find a way to accomodate users' traffic going through the IPS if they forgot their password, but on the other hand, I want to stop the intruders which are trying via a script to grind through a password dictionary and variations.

So I neither want to permit everyone, nor block everyone.

Is it scriptable or is there some option or threshold so that, for example,

2796: SMB: Windows Repeated Logon Failure (Possible Brute Force)

I would like to be able to script it so that instead of Permit or Block, that I could Block the Source Addr for about 15 minutes after 20 failed logins.

Is something like this configurable inside the product?

yes it's possible

you can create new action  "quarantine"

this action publish quarantine page to filtered user.

and you can "Block the Source Addr for about 15 minutes after 20 failed logins. or any other options"
