Hewlett Packard Enterprise Announces New Digital Collaboration and Network Services

Making the most out of your Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Aruba product and service investments just got easier, thanks to a number of new service offerings that support and enhance mobility solutions from Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company.

In a statement in our news release announcing the news, Rafael Brugnini, the senior vice president and general manager, for Technology Services Consulting, HPE, described how these new services can help customers get the most out of their networking and mobility inititiatives.

“In an age of digital disruption in the workplace, our customers are looking to us to help them solve rapidly evolving business challenges,” Brugnini said. “Our comprehensive portfolio of networking and mobility services are anchored by unparalleled expertise and global reach, so customers can trust HPE to provide them with the innovation needed to accelerate their digital workplace initiatives.”

You can read all about the new services in our official news release -- and a companion Aruba release -- and I'll quickly summarize all six new services that were announced here, including:

  • Aruba AirWave Services: Wireless networking use has boomed in recent years, and the new Aruba Airwave Services offering provides centralized management -- and visibility -- into multi-vendor wireless (and wired) environments.
  • Aruba ClearPass Services: Aruba ClearPass is a flexible and robust policy management platform, and this service offering helps customers get the most out of their bring your own device (BYOD) initiatives.
  • Aruba Infrastructure Services: Optimized for applications like Skype for Business and Office 365, Aruba Infrastructure Services provides expert guidance on network design and deployment.
  • HPE Digital Collaboration Services: HPE has been a Microsoft partner for decades, and the length of our relationship gives HPE the experience to provide the best support and consulting services for Microsoft Office 365 and Skype for Business. Using these services can help you plan, migrate, and manage your investment in those platforms across premise, hybrid, and cloud delivery models.
  • Support services: HPE also provides customers with a variety of services that provide "...personalized proactive support and deployment services that are designed to improve performance, simplify operations, and maximize infrastructure availability."
  • HPE Intelligent Spaces for Meetings (Early Access Program): One of the new services I'm personally most excited about it HPE Intelligent Spaces, which promises to improve how customers can leverage HPE and Aruba technology to modernize how they schedule, manage, and integrate meetings with digital collaboration technologies. Brad Sams over at the Petri IT Knowledgebase experienced some of this technology in action first-hand at HPE Discover London, and you can read about his experiences in his article on Building a Better Conference Room.
