任何用户都不能telnet?

大家好：

我一台刚刚装好tru645.1A的主机，出现主机上的用户可以ftp,但都不能telnet的现象，于是我检查securettys文件，发现里面的内容如下：

.....

/dev/console

local:0

:0

ptys

当我使用telnet登录时，出现如下错误：

root login refused on this terminal

当我使用普通用户telnet时，出现如下错误：

too many users has logged in

根据我的了解，即使主机不打lincense，使用root来登录应该是可以的呀！并且我已经把我从console登录的root用户退出来了。

请大家帮我出出主意！

Hello:



If your license is insufficient, and you use

normal user, INSTEAD OF root, you will see the

error, "too many users has logged in", and your

/etc/securettys has "ptys", in theory, you can

login as root from PC or other UNIX/Linux systems, did you try to use "ssh" to login as

root, Tru64 UNIX V5.1A should support ssh for

another remote login method?



Please post your testing result for ssh.

我記得不敲license key可以有兩個user 可以login



確認

/etc/securettys

ptys

後面是否有不應該加的空白字元

建議整行拿掉重加



如果加入是正確的不會有下列訊息產生才對

root login refused on this terminal

Danny:你说的使用ssh登录的方式我没有尝试,因为主机上没有安装和配置ssh，请问详细的教我配置一下ssh吗？

jeoy:你说的securettys文件，我查过了，没有问题，并且你说的有无空格符，我也查过了，还是没有。

　　FTP是可以的。但为什么telnet就是不行呢？请大家再帮帮我！

Hello:



If your root login is using X emulation,

such as eXcusrion, or other tools, using XDMCP

to simulate console login, instead of using

command line telnet from PC or other UNIX/Linux,

the ptys setting in /etc/securettys in not

enough.

Under normal condition, sshd should be

enabled and running, you can try to connect it

by using ssh clinet on PC or other UNIX/LINUX

that has support ssh client.



SSH(Secure Shell) client on PC for you:

ftp://ftp.ssh.com/pub/ssh/SSHSecureShellClient-3.2.9.exe

It is a very nice ssh/sftp GUI interface used on

PC, enjoy yourself.

　我输入了多用户的license后，其它的用户可以从远程终端登录了，但root用户还是不行！

Now it is not a license issue, you said, root

can't login by telnet, but root can't login by ssh or not? Do you use C2 security?



Please provide more information about under

what method, telnet or ssh, that prevents you

from login as root, both methods or only telnet

and ssh is workable, therefore, we can narrow

down the problem scope.

1. check if ssh or tcp wrapper is still enabled (/etc/inetd.conf).



2. if it was an update, check permission of /etc/protocols

3)could you please more specific where you will get the message? During telnet login, CDE login or console text mode
