2 nodes clusters to connect to 2 different storage arrays'

need some help to clarify on a technical point :
This is a Tru64 Unix – 2 node cluster consisting of GS1280, ES45 and EVA3K san storage, as the shared storage. Cluster scripting has been customized by HP to accommodate apps failover / failback requirements.
Both nodes are on Tru64 v5.1B.

Now,want to extend the current shared storage to include IBM san storage as well in this 2 node cluster enviroment.

Technically, is this possible ?
Are there any h/w limitation on Alpha server or s/w limitation on the Unix cluster in hosting 2 different shared stroage ?
How much work is needed – on OS configuration for IBM LUNs’ , cluster scripting etc ..

Technically there is no problem in adding more hosts or storage systems to a SAN, thats just what a SAN is desogned for.
If the IBM system is supported for TRU64 systems it will most likely work in a mixed environment together with the EVA.

Steps are just like you would do with a second EVA.

If the cluster hosts are the only nodes on this SAN, then zoning is not really (all hosts can see all storage).
- check if zoning is configured.
- if so, first step is to (re)configure zoning on your SAN to make the new controllers visible on the unix hosts.
- create volumes on the IBM storage system and present them to all cluster nodes.
- on the clustenodes you may need a "hwmgr -scan scsi" to view the newly added volumes.
- disklabel the volumes and create filesystems, or add them to existing filedomains to create larger filedomains (need advfs-advanced license).
