2nodes cluster 變成3 nodes 的步驟?

我想加入一個node 進來

請問我的步驟該如何作

1)cluster_expected_votes最好設成幾票

2)vote disk 要拿掉還是設成0票

請問正確的步驟該是如何?

manual is a good point for reference, especially,

from page 84 to 100, which are dedicated to Quorom,

On page 99 to 100, there is one table that is for 2 to 4 members relationshiop and quorum

按照書上的寫法,tru64 似乎並不允許3 nodes cluster 死掉兩台

所以在3 nodes 加上quorum disk ,expected 就變成4了,所以加了quorum disk根本也沒效果

請問我可以修改expect votes 嗎?,還是這是rule不能改的

例如





3 1 1 1 --- 1(這樣一來,即使死了兩個Nodes,quorum_votes還有兩票,這樣我的cluster還是好好的)

It should be encountered cluster partition and needs to follow the previous .pdf update. See

4.10 Troubleshooting Unfortunate Expected Vote and Node Vote Settings

是不是在停NODES要手動修改一些東西呢

而不能隨便就關掉兩台

Yes. Please using the command "clu_quorum" to maintain the vote on member #num to 0 or 1 and reserved

one disk for quorum disk usage.



All of member and quorum disk's vote can set to 0 or 1

by your requirement via "clu_quorum". Otherwise, the chapter 4.10 for solving boot fail while lost one .. or more votes.

As the previous table recommendation. Don't setup a quorum disk on 3 nodes cluster.



But reserved one disk for quorum disk to joining this cluster configuration if necessary that is avoiding as your described.
