Apache start failed once using CAA

Hello,

At the customer site, Apache failed to start once.

[ENVIRONMENT]

[SITUATION]
According to daemon.log, CAA started Apache once, but it detected OFFLINE:

May 17 18:38:53 host-2CAAD[525007]: Successfully restarted `application-2` on `host-2`

According to collect data, I confirmed the following situation.
- Load average is 0.03, and CPU IDLE 99%.
- Free memory is about 10G
- There is no high CPU usage process
- Disk busy percent is about 0%.

[QUESTION]
- Is there any possibility that CAA did not generate Apache process ?

- Have you ever seen this phenomenon ?
If case example is not Apache, I am helpful.

Thank you for advice.
Best Regards.

Re: Apache start failed once using CAA

Things like that can happen because of many reasons. It can be some time-out, application bug etc etc...
Is there any possibility that CAA did not generate Apache process ?
Does not have to be.
How many times did you have this problem?

Re: Apache start failed once using CAA

Hello,

Thank you for reply.

This trouble has happened first time.

And the application went OFFLINE, and started at next time.

At error log of Apache, there is not pid information, so the Apache process seems to be generated.
so CAA can start application successfully, but the Apache did not start normally once.

[QUESTION]
- What kind of thing is thought about as a cause ?
- Have you ever seen similar phenomenon ?

Thank you for advice.
Best Regards.
