Building fresh member 2 boot disk in cluster with member 1 boot disk

Dear Team,

We have tru64 unix 5.1b,Having Two boot disk in cluster member 2 disk fail.Unforunately we don't have backup of that failed disk.
how many files we can directly copy from member 1 boot disk to new replaced fresh disk?
How many files of member 1 disk need to copy/modify while building the member2?
How we can make it bootable with member 1 boot disk?

If you have the member2's config file in /cluster/admin directory, you could simply add that member using the 'clu_add_member -c member2.cfg' command. This will create the boot partition with all the required files.

The file is located in /cluster/admin and the name should be .memberN.cfg. You should run clu_delete_member first.

If you don't have that file (you should) it's not a good idea to try to manually create the node's boot disk.
Por que hacerlo dificil si es posible hacerlo facil? - Why do it the hard way, when you can do it the easy way?
