Cluster Alias and NFS

I manage a two node T64 v5.1b cluster. I have two cluster aliases configured, default_alias and second_alias, because I need to keep NFS traffic on a the "second_alias" subnet. The question is: Is it possible/unwise/great idea to block out NFS traffic from the default_alias?

Joakin,

Not possible, you can only exclude members from participating in NFS-serving.

I think you can -- if you use a firewall.

Re: Cluster Alias and NFS

Thank you guys,

I hade a feeleing of "N/A" regarding default_alias not accepting NFS requests. But the idea of using a firewall is good.

All the best! /JB
