Re: Cluster often crash

Hy,

one message caught my eyes
Dec 6 19:59:51 bbxc1 vmunix: *** ISP adapter firmware out of rev for cluster use ***
The revision for this adapter is 5.53. On our machines it is 5.57. I do not know whether you can update this but you should try.

Moreover you seem to have a few problems with the cluster run scripts.

Do you shutdown so often the network interface card? If not then you may want to check that.

Re: Cluster often crash

The main cause of your cluster's instability is the network partitioning reported in daemon.log
Please verify that both members are still capable of communicating with each other on all ASE monitored networks.

Re: Cluster often crash

there are also script errors within the ASE scripts so your start/stop scripts are not very clever in case of relocation.

It seems if one machine is not reachable the whole cluster will be partitioned, which is an configuration issue, e.g. your setup is faulty.
