Emulex LP952 (FC2101) link down after support pack 7.51

Hello everyone,

I've got a really weird problem on a few of our DL380G3s. We have 7 of them, all running W2K SP4, all with a pair of Emulex LinkPulse 952 (FC2101) HBAs installed in PCI Slot 1 and 2.
After upgrading ProLiant Support Pack to v7.51, several HBAs report link down. On server A, both HBAs are "link down", on servers B and C only HBA in Slot 2 is down. Servers D,E,F - no problem after PSP 7.51, server G - PSP not applied (too scared).

HP solved the server A trouble by replacing both HBAs and the PCI slots "cage". I am pretty sure however, that the problem is in some kind of setting somewhere. When I swap HBAs in server B, always the one in Slot 2 reports link down, the one in Slot 1 is always fine.

Same drivers (5.5.20.10), same firmware (3.92A2). IRQ is 10 and 15, both shared with NICs. Maybe you wanna check the attached chart.

I do not have much experience with SANs, so no clue what to check next.

Anyone got a hint? Thanks so much.

I've started new thread in SANs, so closing this to prevent confusion.

Sorry.
