Re: Error message

Umm, you'll need to give us all a little more context. What happened before that ? What configuration is this ? What happened next ?

It looks as though you had a MC event... but without the context and configuration its difficult to say what.

Did someone cycle the power or reboot another member ? Is there an MC Hub and was its power cycled ? Are you having MC cabling problem(s) perhaps ?

Re: Error message

Ok, here is some images, which I saved in files.
The first one has information when starts first computer in the cluster. It occured sometimes with crush dump, sometimes it doesn't.

The second has successful load. And in the thread comes across with error with Memory Chanel. Could be anyone explain why it occurs and because of what?

Thanks.

Re: Error message

The first machine also provide messages:

mchan0: State change mcport = 72400000 mcerr= 0 lcsr = 184078 hbeats = 145
mchan0: old node state = 1 new node_state = 3
mchan0: Log to Binary Error log ... error = 1801
mchan0: node 1 has come online

... when second one crushed.

Re: Error message

Hi,

I would drop both members to the SRM, and run the mc_cable and mc_diag tests.

It does look like you have some sort of Memory Channel issue. Those utilities should hopefully confirm...

Cheers,

Rob
