Facing problem of root2_domain disk fails

Dear Sir/Madam,

Now, we are facing the problem with compaq ES40, with MSA 1000 san array.
We have HP Tru64 unix 5.1b installed on ES40 & two exactly similar CPU in TRUcluster, which is connected to HP MSA 1000 SAN Array.
MSA 1000 SAn array contents total 14 Disks, starting two disks are root1_domain,root2_doman.As per our knowledge it is in RAID 0.
Yesterday morning ,while booting the server MSA SAN shows error on disk 2(root2_domain)
Physical fault indication on MSA 1000 HDD in Bay 2
101 volume#2 state failed
84 drive failure box#1 bay2
System not booting by default BOOT Command,

We are booting system by manual commands

After again restarting the server & MSA 1000 the message indicatin on display changes to----

101 volume#2 state failed
80 replacement drive found box#1 bay2
The physical indication on disk disappears,Only mmessage on LCD indication still is there
101 volume#2 state failed
84 drive failure box#1 bay2

The physical state & the message which shown on LCD is quite conflicting.

On CLI prompt of MSA 1000 storage,
CLI>show unit 2

VOLUME STATUS : VOLUME FAILED
1 Data Disk(s) used in lun 2:

Spare Disk(S) used by lun 2
No spare drive is Designated.
Logical volume Raid Level : NO FAULT TOLERENCE (Raid 0)
stripe_size=128kB

Its seems that disk 2 i.e. root2_domain of cluster member2 has became faulty,We want to recreate the cluster member 2 root2_domain disk

Kindly Advice us the possible solution for the same.

Re: Facing problem of root2_domain disk fails

I think you could use:
/usr/sbin/clu_bdmgr -c target_device_name memberid

refer to man page of 'clu_bdmgr' for details.
