Migrating a Cluster from FC-AL to Fabric

We want to migrate a 4 Node Cluster (2xDS20, 2xDS25) and HSG80 Storage from FC-AL (Compaq FC-Hub) to Fabric (FC Switch).
Members are booting from HSG80 (Tru64 5.1, all FC Connections are single path).
What´s the best way ?
We know that we have to change the topology with wwidmgr on the cluster nodes, but what about device names within the cluster configuration (will it change ??)

Re: Migrating a Cluster from FC-AL to Fabric

After you changed the topology, you should do a wwidmgr -clear all and wwidmgr quickset again, then set the bootdef_dev.

Devices names wont change because the devices names are mapped to the WWID name of the disk. The WWID name should not change if you change the topology.
Por que hacerlo dificil si es posible hacerlo facil? - Why do it the hard way, when you can do it the easy way?

Re: Migrating a Cluster from FC-AL to Fabric

solution was:
- changing topology from loop to fabric at HSG80 and Alpha HBAs (with wwidmgr);
- quickset was not necessary, all devices were online at reboot;
//Add this to "OnDomLoad" event
