Replacement of motherboard may cause TruCluster Down?

Our TruCluster confiures as following:
2*DS25 + MSA1000
OS: Tru6 UNIX V5.1B(Rev. 265)
-----------------------------------------------
One DS25 crashed several days ago, The support analysed the binary log and suggested that we should replace the motherboard. Our worry is whether replacement of motherboard may cause the cluster down because some online application are runing on the other machine.

Hi qianfengan,
I don't understand your worry?

>>> some online application are runing on the other machine <<<
at this time that has nothing to do with THIS machine.

A Trucluster is designed to have active nodes taking over tasks from nodes that fail, or are shutdown for maintenace.

The cluster mechanism has worked and the applications have been taken over by the other machine.

So basically you can shutdown this node again for maintenance.

(I assume the rest of the configuration is as it should be).

Sorry,Maybe I didn't clarify it clearly.
Since I don't know whether Trucluster configure files record member's harware infomation. If Yes, replacement of motherboard may cause cluster down.
