Waiting for cluster boot disk to become registered

I recently used the cluster clone script to clone a 5 member trucluster. It worked fine and no problems were reported. However when I attempted to boot the 1st member from the cloned boot disk, I got the above error and it just keeps on repeating the same error. Just prior to this error I get one that says " drd_config_thread found 8 unknown local devices" All the disks are shared on a SAN. The other 4 members booted fine from the new cloned disks and joined the cluster without any problems.

Can somebody shed some light on this? Why cant I boot the one member? Is there a way of fixing this problem? I have read somewhere that it could be a problem with the wwid's that may have changed..but I checked and these seem to be ok.

Should I re-clone again and see what happens?

Hi,

we have been fighting this problem for some time. What kind of SAN do you have?
It looks like the device name have changed.
