Want to change identifier number

we have 15 disk in MSA 1000 with ES-40(Tru64 unix 5.1B),i.e identifier number 101 to 115.
Unfortunately one of our Cluster boot disk fail.

When we changed disk with new one,its not taking identifier number(It has to be 102).
In place of 102(Identifier of root2_domain disk),it shows whole disk name.

& How to make it boootable this 102 in cluster with 101(Identifier of root1_domain disk)?

Re: Want to change identifier number

Hi, see "Backing Up and Repairing a Memberâ s Boot Disk" in the Cluster Administration guide for information about how to replace a failed boot disk. Your disk won't be the same device name unless you have the same WWID.

Identifiers are set in the storage, ensure that the Unit ID was set.
