OS is Tru64 UNIX 5.1A.Now the machine has the error:
WARNING: rdg_tcp_listener: retrying sobind, port = 44598.
What does it means?Thank you.

Hello
Is this machine a cluster member? If so, you should chech your cluster interconnect (cables, hub and NICs).
In vino veritas, in VMS cluster

rdg is reliable datagram protocol for MEMORY CHANNEL boards. sobind = socket bind, so you can translate the error message.....

Thank you.Yes,this machine is a cluster member? Then how should I chech my cluster interconnect (cables, hub and NICs)?The cluster interconnect is ethernet.

use the netstat -I devicename -s to see the status of the errors reported for that device.
Also check your /var/adm/message file.

clu_check_config -v is a starter. Next verify eventlogs and bootmessages.

Be sure you have configured the interconnect switches properly. Have a look into the hardware manual for trucluster for more informations.
