trucluster -node booting problem

Hi all


my trucluster with two ES45 nodes is running on tru64 5.1A

One node is note booting with the below mentioned error

mounting /cluster/members/member1/boot_partition
root2_domain#root on /cluster/members/member1/boot_partition

specified device doesnot match with mounted device

mountroot : pls correct and reboot

any idea ?

Yeah, I think member 2 is trying to mount member1's boot partition which is already mounted my member1. Check your specified boot device in SRM (bootdef_dev) or make sure to specify member2 boot disk in your boot command from SRM if you're doing it manually. If you're not sure what that disk should be, consult /etc/fdmns on the running member1 and see what disk is linked in /etc/fdmns/root2_domain. Translate that special device name to a hardware ID with hwmgr or looking in /dev/disk depending upon what kind of storage this is. WWIDMGR might be of help at SRM if this is some kind of SAN disk (which it probably is as a trucluster member disk)
