CMS 10.01 integration with Microsoft SCCM 2007

Hi,

I'm having issues integration between CMS and SCCM, checked the DB credentials, connection successful.

But when I created the integration point in integration studio and click Test Connection, it gave me error below:

This does not feel like a valid answer to the question above.

Can you please have a look at it?

We are experiencing the same problems.

Hi.

We are experiencing the same problem as above.

The credentials we have can successfully connect to the DB we need to, but the integration point experiences the same errors.

Please would you assist.

Kind regards,

Re: CMS 10.01 integration with Microsoft SCCM 2007

Hi WDBSort1,

You need to provide something for us to go on. I wasn't around for the first question, but my interpretation of that problem is pretty straightforward. It can't connect with the information provided and the ports available.

You need to ensure you have the rights on the system you're getting to. You need to ensure you can access the downstream system on the appropriate port from your Probe. Since you're probably connecting to a Windows Server and SQL Server with a Windos Server, you should also start the DFP process with the user you're trying to connect with.

What I'm saying? The error the OP placed above last year is a basic "connection failed" type error message. You'll need to give us something more to go on.

Happy to try and help if you can,

Erik
