DDM discovery - import from CSV file unicode support

Hello there,

I would like to import CIs (Applications) to uCDMB from a CSV file. The file contains international characters (like Ž, š, ý, é, etc.). Using the default pattern settings these characters appear as ?s in the uCMDB CI properties tab. Even the CI names are incorrect in some cases. Is there any way to display them correctly? To change some discovery parameters or the csv file encoding (right now it's ANSI as UTF-8 according to Notepad++)?

Thank you in advance,
Barna

This job does not support Unicode at the moment.
We consider to take this as an enhancement request for future Content pack releases.

Re: DDM discovery - import from CSV file unicode support

That's really sad.

What is interesting that I converted that file to ANSI format (that's the default windows text file encoding) and now the DDM probe is reading the file correctly, somewhere in the uCDMB Server processing are these characters substituted. Otherwise I could enter these characters in the uCMDB GUI and they are accepted. So DDM reads these characters uCMDB supports and the process between these two doesn't?
