Host Conn by SNMP and Range Ip's by ICMP not discovering 3 new routers

Hi Team,

We have 3 new routers added to the enviornment and we see that UCMDB is not discovering them under Host conn by SNMP or Range IP's by ICMP.

I am not able to search and add them manually either.

Is there any way to check why these are not getting discovered and also add them to the range.

Please advice.

Regards

Mathew

Re: Host Conn by SNMP and Range Ip's by ICMP not discovering 3 new routers

Hi,

Performing  "Range Ip's by ICMP" script is checking that answer to ping is coming from the same interface it was sent to.

In case it's comming from different one, IP CI won't be created.

It could happen in virtualized systems or net devices, where more than one interface of device exposed to UCMDB.

Please change value of virtualModeDiscover parameter on "Range Ip's by ICMP" job to true and try to rerun the job. Ceck attached screen shot.

When IPs will be created all other jobs will be triggered as well.

Hope this helps
