Turn on UCMDB Aging

I want to activate aging.

Is it possible to get a report first before the actual deletion takes place (in this case where CIs are older than 40 days)?

is it possible to restore the deletion if I change my mind later?

Thanks.

Yes you can see the report under Application--> CI Lifecycle-->CIs tab (for BAC 8.0x).

Not sure if its possible to restore, unless you do a complete uCMDB DB restore from backup.

Is that true no CI will be deleted while I am looking at the report even though some of the CIs are older than 40 days?

Re: Turn on UCMDB Aging

If you have not enabled aging then CIs are still there in uCMDB database and hence you can see it offcourse without deleting it.

Only when you enable aging the CIs older than 40 days will be deleted.
