TypeError: 'NoneType' object is not iterable

Hello All,

I am running

Server version: 10.01.CUP9 build: 635

I am trying to run the out of the box NNMi integration. This used to work fine but now I receive an error.

NNM: Internal error. Details: Traceback (most recent call last):
File "NNM_Integration", line 31, in DiscoveryMain
File "nnmi", line 2027, in discover
File "nnmi", line 1955, in discoverNodes
File "nnmi", line 287, in discover
File "nnmi", line 218, in _onResults
File "nnmi", line 1431, in report
File "nnmi", line 1255, in reportNonRestorableIps
TypeError: 'NoneType' object is not iterable

It looks like it connects fine because I see that there are updates being made and new items being added to the uCMDB database. But at some point this message appears.

What could go wrong?

Re: TypeError: 'NoneType' object is not iterable

Hi Dima,

I notice that this specific messages appeared in the VMWare Topology Discovery Job last year.

Perhaps the resolution of the issue is somehow similar?

The problem is known - http://support.openview.hp.com/selfsolve/document/LID/QCCR1H93266.

The solution comes in CP13.

Please upgrade and let us know if the problem persist.

Hi Dima,

Thank you very much for your reply.

Three remarks:

CP13? This is a CP for uCMDB 10.10. We have not planned the upgrade to 10.10 yet. We're running on 10.01. Is there also a CP for 10.01 available which resolves this issue?  We had this integration working on 10.01.

I tried to open the link you posted but the url you provided does not work anymore.

In the mean time I opened up a case for this issue at HP Support. The case reference is: 4648734520

Thanks for your support Dima. It is highly appreciated.
